About Irene Fehr, Sex & Intimacy Coach

Certified Coach. Sex & Intimacy Expert.
Somatic Experiencing
®Practitioner.
Writer. Speaker. Intimacy Warrior.

In today’s overwhelming and disconnected world, the bravest thing you can do is to open your heart and fight for intimacy.

Couples come to me to heal the heartbreak of falling into roommate status and bring magic back into their relationship, under the sheets and beyond.

Single women come to me to break out of patterns of disconnecting from their bodies and desire, and reclaim their sexuality to prepare to attract a partner who will meet them sexually.

As a Sex & Intimacy Coach and a Somatic Experiencing® Practititioner specializing in women’s libido and sexual desire in a long-term relationship, I’ve helped several hundred couples and single women to find sexual aliveness, satisfaction and connection. I’ve fought alongside courageous clients as they dared to choose intimacy over obligation, and fulfillment over compromise.

As an American based in the Netherlands, I serve English-speaking clients in the US, Canada, Europe, UK, Israel, Middle East and Australia via Zoom.

You can read many of my articles on sex in long-term relationships, female libido and sexual pleasure in the Huffington Post, ScaryMommy, Refinery29, and Thought Catalog as well as in mainstream publications such as Cosmopolitan, Elite Daily and Bustle where I am regularly featured as a guest sex expert.

You can also hear my story and approach on the many podcasts including Sexy Marriage Radio, The Generous Marriage Podcast, Legendary Marriage Podcast, and The Meaningful Life Podcast. You can also read about my story in Voyage Denver.

Why I Do This Work

I’ve lived through a fair share of challenging relationships and intimacy experiences — from my experience of losing my libido and ending up in a sexless marriage — that have led me to become an “intimacy warrior” for other couples. I’ve created a powerful step-by-step process to help couples make sex in their long-term relationship not only successful and sustainable — but also inevitable.

I know that when couples feel empowered to create a fulfilling sex life with their love partner, they empower the next many generations to do that same — and that spills over into a more open, fulfilled and nourished world.

As a sex and intimacy coach, I am committed to walking alongside you on your own personal journey and fighting alongside you for your rightful pleasure, joy and love in your sex life.
